Sana Shah
Sana (she/her) is a DPhil student in History. She is interested in studying the intersection of political theory with philosophy of History . Her research is funded by the Felix Award.
Asma Shakeel
Asma (she/her) is pursuing her second master’s degree in the History of Science, Medicine, and Technology, building on a background in Global and Imperial history. Her research focuses on the medical missionary enterprise and famine in Dogra Kashmir between the 1860s and 1890s. She also has academic interests in the history of electricity and environmental humanities. Asma’s studies at Oxford are supported by a Rhodes Scholarship.

Qianyi Zhang (he/him) is a DPhil History student working on the Chinese Labour Corps during the First World War. He is particularly interested in China in the First World War, British informal imperialism in China, and the global First World War.
Oonmona Das

Oonmona (she/her) is pursuing her MPhil in Global and Area Studies. Her research is on conflict resolution and peacebuilding mechanisms in African and South Asian indigenous and ethnic communities and is specifically looking at how women interact and participate in such settings.
Haochen Wang

Haochen Wang (he/him) is pursuing his MSt in Global and Imperial History. His research focuses on inter-imperial and Sino-Western diplomacy in the long 19th-century, and specifically the role of informal socialisation in affecting diplomatic paradigms.
